that do work this time of year.

Bank fish from Medicare Beach using PowerBait or night crawlers on the bottom with a 1/4

oz. egg weight. A 5.00” white grub on a . oz. jig head has been catching fish as well. Cast

it out – let it get to the bottom and slowly reel it back.

No reports on largemouth this week. They are in their winter mode. Jig blade baits, tubes or

fluke style baits in 20-30 feet of water along the face of the sand dunes. The rock piles

between Goose Island and the face of the dam, and the mouth of Crab Creek can produce

smallmouth. Fish . oz. Norisada blade baits, tubes, jigs, swimbaits, and hula grubs.

Walleye fishing has been fair this week. Fish the humps on the face of the sand dunes. Fish

20-40. Jigging is an effective technique this time of year. Jig . ounce blade baits in silver,

perch, or red patterns or jig a 3.00” Gulp Minnow on a . ounce jig head. Drop shot rigs will

work as well.

No reports on panfish this week. Fish the face of the sand dunes and Lind Coulee for

Panfish. Throw Bobby Garland Baby Shads or, the Fisher Brothers DS Fry. Use a 1/32 oz

jig head under a slip bobber. Troll #5 Flicker Shads along the face and just inside the

dunes.

The hunting has been tough this week with a lot of the small waters icing over. Have had

some decent reports of folks jump shooting on some of the wasteways that have moving

water.
